Hi, I'm Ananya — the maker behind Melliora

I was fourteen when I made my first dreamcatcher — not for a shop, not for anyone in particular, just because I wanted to make something with my own hands. A scrapbook came after that, then another dreamcatcher, then another — small things, made slowly, mostly for people I loved.

Somewhere along the way, dreamcatchers turned into scrunchies, and scrapbooks turned into hair accessories. The name changed with it too — it was Handy Shoppe first, then Classy Trinkets — until, six years on, that same instinct grew into something bigger: Melliora.

Melliora is Latin for "to make things better." That's still the whole idea, every single time: I want every gift from us to leave a moment a little better than it found it.

It started with one dreamcatcher at fourteen, and it's still growing the exact same way — one small, handmade thing at a time.
